Kiboga prison murders trial adjourned over lack of funds

The special High Court session in Kiboga for the trial of a prison warder and three relatives accused over the Kiboga prison killings, set for Monday 17 August 2026, was adjourned. Judiciary spokesperson Jumire James Ereemye Mawanda said the reason was absence of funds to facilitate witnesses and other stakeholders, and that a new date would be communicated once money is available.
