Hoima West Division orders street vendors to vacate streets within seven days

According to The Independent (URN), the Hoima West Division Town Clerk issued a fresh eviction order giving street vendors seven days to move to designated markets, replacing an earlier four-month ultimatum issued in March. The order also asks owners of roadside kiosks and containers to demolish them and boda boda stages to relocate; some vendors told the outlet they would only leave once the original four months had elapsed.
