Ibanda District and Ministry of Water and Environment demarcate Kabobo Wetland with 30-metre buffer

Ibanda District authorities, led by the RDC and the District Natural Resources Department with the Ministry of Water and Environment, marked a 30-metre buffer zone around Kabobo Wetland in Igorora Town Council using concrete pillars, Nile Post reported. District Natural Resources Officer Elly Kilya said grazing, cultivation and brick making are prohibited within the demarcated area so the degraded wetland can regenerate.
