Joint security forces shoot dead armed robbery suspect, a South Sudan army corporal, in Midigo, Yumbe

Police said joint security forces pursuing a suspect in a 19 December armed robbery of a charcoal dealer shot him dead in Yamba Village, Midigo Town Council, after he opened fire on them. According to the North West Nile police spokesperson, the dead man was an active-duty corporal of the South Sudan army; one other suspect was arrested and authorities are coordinating with South Sudan.
