Chief Magistrate Joy Nambozo of Kalisizo Magistrate's Court remanded 36 people, mostly youths, to Ssaza Government Prison in Masaka over the Kyotera protests, according to The Independent. The accused denied wrongdoing, and bail was declined for lack of substantial sureties.
