Kitgum High Court dismisses Beatrice Anywar's application for voter register in election petition

In a ruling by Justice Amos Kwizera, read by Chief Magistrate Robert Ekirita, Kitgum High Court dismissed Beatrice Atim Anywar's application to compel the Electoral Commission to produce the voter register from the January 2026 Kitgum Municipality parliamentary election. The court held that her allegations of voting by deceased and ineligible persons were general, unsupported or hearsay; costs will follow the outcome of the main petition.
