Mbarara magistrate remands 43 NUP supporters arrested during Kyagulanyi campaign

According to the Daily Monitor, 43 NUP supporters appeared before Grade One Magistrate Esther Bagala in Mbarara. Thirty-eight, charged with obstructing the Mbarara District Police Commander, denied the charges and were remanded until 19 November after the magistrate declined immediate bail; five faced traffic charges, four of whom pleaded guilty and were remanded until 14 November for sentencing.
