Museveni says EC officials may have deliberately delayed biometric data, promises probe

After voting at Karo High School in Rwakitura, President Yoweri Museveni said some Electoral Commission officials had not sent operators' biodata to the verification machines and that authorities would check whether this was deliberate manipulation. He said he accepted the EC's proposal to vote manually so voters would not be sent home.
