The Independent reported that NRM took two of the three parliamentary seats in Bundibugyo District. Josephine Babungi retained the district woman MP seat, Harriet Ntabazi won Bwamba County, and Christopher Kibanzanga returned for Bughendera after losing in the NRM primaries.
