NUP supporters try to burn MP-elect's arch and destroy kiosks and transformer in Kiwoko after results

After the Nakaseke parliamentary results were announced, NUP supporters in Kiwoko town tried to set fire to an arch for MP-elect Kabuye Kyofatogabye and destroyed chapati kiosks, according to URN. Soldiers and police dispersed the crowd, and the protesters then destroyed an electricity transformer at Butikwa village and damaged four electric poles, cutting power to parts of the area.
