Security agencies seize truck carrying 500 bags of charcoal in Gulu, arrest driver and assistant

According to ChimpReports, security agencies working with the Aswa West regional police commander intercepted a truck carrying 500 bags of charcoal on the Kora Abiri-Layibi route in Gulu. The 4 Infantry Division commander, Maj Gen Sserunkuma, ordered the charcoal handed out to local residents for household use and warned commercial charcoal dealers, citing presidential directives on forest conservation. Police detained the driver and his assistant while pursuing the suspected owner of the consignment.
