Sheema North candidate alleges intimidation as rival petitions EC to disqualify him

According to The Independent, Sheema North parliamentary candidate Julius Muhanguzi Ndangire said he and his supporters had faced threats and intimidation since his nomination and accused former minister Dr Elioda Tumwesigye of using money to push candidates out of the race. Tumwesigye has reportedly petitioned the Electoral Commission to disqualify Ndangire, citing allegedly false affidavits by voters.
