Independent candidate Vincent Enomu alleged that people armed with sticks, pangas and bricks invaded polling stations in Awaliwali Sub-county during the Soroti LC5 vote and chased away his agents and supervisors, according to the Daily Monitor. He also said his wife was attacked and nearly beaten to death while taking food to his agents. The winning NRM candidate, Bob Owiny, dismissed the allegations.
