Two NUP local council candidates in Mbarara withdraw from race and leave party

Provia Bakazi (Rwemigyina Ward) and Hellen Kembaga (Biharwe), National Unity Platform candidates for councillor seats in Mbarara, announced they were withdrawing from the local council elections and leaving the party, ChimpReports reported. Both said they lacked financial and campaign support and accused the party of not keeping promises made when they were recruited.
