Adjumani NRM district registrar goes missing while travelling to deliver presidential results to Kampala

Police in Adjumani said the NRM district registrar was last heard from on the morning of 16 January 2026, when he told his wife he had finished tallying presidential results and was on his way to party headquarters in Kampala. Police said his phone has since been unreachable and that a disappearance case has been opened at Adjumani Police Station while they search for him with relatives and the NRM district office.
