UPDF soldiers and police deployed at the Tooro Kingdom offices at Muchwa closed the doors of the Rukurato chambers to Supreme Council members led by Babiito clan head Omusuga Prince Charles Kamurasi, URN reports. Kingdom Prime Minister Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire had announced the sitting was postponed, while the Babiito clan spokesperson said the Prime Minister had no authority to stop it. The members left after negotiations with security failed, amid a dispute over succession to the late King Oyo.
