EC cancels Fort Portal City female councillor vote in several wards over wrong ballot papers

Voting for the Fort Portal City female councillor was cancelled in several wards of the Northern and Central divisions after some polling stations received wrong ballot papers or ballots with mixed-up candidate details. The City Returning Officer told the Daily Monitor that a new date would be communicated before 4 February; an affected candidate said the errors were avoidable.
