Bushenyi District council approves new District Service Commission member after nine-month vacancy

Bushenyi District council unanimously approved James Mujurizi to the District Service Commission, replacing a nominee whose name the Public Service Commission had deferred, LCV Chairman Prosper Twebaze said. Western Ankole Civil Society Forum director Lee Kakonge said earlier appointments had been found by the Public Service Commission and State House Anti-Corruption Unit not to have followed procedure, leaving the district without a commission for nine months, according to the Daily Monitor.
