Disqualified NUP candidate Mathias Walukagga endorses independent Emmanuel Magoola for Busiro East

Mathias Walukagga, the NUP flag bearer for Busiro East who was barred from the race over academic qualifications, publicly told his supporters to vote for Emmanuel Magoola, a NUP member running as an independent, according to ChimpReports. The outlet noted that NUP rules treat members who stand against the party's flag bearer as having forfeited membership, leaving it unclear whether the party will act against Walukagga.
