Ebola outbreak in Uganda, May 2026

The Ministry of Health confirmed a rising number of Ebola cases in Uganda during late May 2026, including two health workers at a private facility in Kampala. It put the national total at seven cases with one death on 27 May, and at nine confirmed cases with one death by 29-31 May.
