EC disqualifies NUP's Mathias Walukagga from Busiro East race

The Electoral Commission ruled that NUP's Busiro East candidate Mathias Walukagga did not meet the minimum academic qualification because the mature-age certificate he used had expired, following a complaint filed on 4 November 2025, Eagle Online reported. The ruling is dated 25 November and was made public on 9 December; the High Court later upheld it.
