According to Nile Post, the Electoral Commission said it would not cancel more than five newly created polling stations inside Namukekela Industrial Park in Nakaseke, after Nakaseke South MP Luttamaguzi Ssemakula and other local leaders petitioned for their removal. The leaders said the fenced, guarded site was insecure and could be used for vote rigging; Deputy EC Spokesperson Paul Bukenya said the stations would remain and the Commission would issue guidance on voting there. The MP said the EC chairperson promised a decision by 12 December.
