Electoral Commission nominates incumbent Baroda Batongola for Kamuli Municipality MP seat

According to Nile Post, the Electoral Commission nominated and cleared the sitting Kamuli Municipality MP, Baroda Batongola, to contest the seat in the 2026 general elections. After her nomination she told supporters she would focus on roads, health care and education, and urged them to vote for President Museveni.
