Electoral Commission nominates Yoweri Museveni as NRM presidential candidate for 2026 at Lubowa

According to ChimpReports, President Yoweri Museveni was formally nominated by the Electoral Commission as the National Resistance Movement's candidate for the 2026 presidential election at the Commission's Lubowa nomination grounds. He was accompanied by senior party and state officials, and after nomination he thanked the Commission and his party and spoke about peace, crime and impunity.
