Entebbe High Court dismisses NUP petitioner Charles Matovu's application for Busiro South electoral documents

Justice Jameson Karemani of the High Court in Entebbe dismissed with costs an application by former MP Charles Matovu (NUP) seeking Electoral Commission records for his petition against the election of Kenan Opio in Busiro South, the Daily Monitor reports. The judge described the request as insufficiently specific and filed after an inordinate delay, and set the hearing of the main petition for 16 October.
