Ex-NRM aspirant Christopher Ojera remanded in Gulu over alleged fake OWC catering deal fraud

According to the Daily Monitor, former Kilak North parliamentary aspirant Christopher Ojera was charged before Gulu Chief Magistrate's Court with defrauding a food vendor of Shs13.4 million by allegedly posing as an Operation Wealth Creation official and promising her a catering contract. He pleaded not guilty and was denied bail and remanded until March 12, 2026; police said he had been arrested on March 1 in Karuma.
