FDC and NUP candidates in Fort Portal City announce joint alliance to protect votes

At a joint press conference, FDC and NUP parliamentary candidates in Fort Portal City announced an alliance called the United Force of Change to mobilise voters and coordinate polling agents for the 15 January 2026 election. FDC's Ajuna Daka said the aim was to prevent vote rigging, and the candidates urged supporters to back the other party where their own had no candidate.
