FDC MP Yusuf Nsibambi leads 17 opposition politicians to meet President Museveni at State House Entebbe

Mawokota South MP Yusuf Nsibambi said he led 17 opposition politicians to closed-door talks with President Museveni on peace and reconciliation after the January 2026 elections, ChimpReports reports. According to Nsibambi, the delegation asked for a presidential pardon for people detained during post-election unrest and raised the detention of Butambala MP Muhammad Muwanga Kivumbi on terrorism charges.
