According to LC1 Chairperson Leo Niyibizi, more than two hours of heavy rain caused floods that swept through homes and gardens in Nango Village, Maziba Ward, destroying several houses and crops. ChimpReports reports that the floodwaters also exposed a body buried about a week earlier; residents said earlier appeals to district authorities to improve drainage went unanswered.
