Gulu court remands High Court intern charged over sharing court register information on social media

According to the Daily Monitor, a Gulu High Court intern was remanded by the Grade One Magistrate's Court in Gulu on charges of unauthorised disclosure of information and offences under the Computer Misuse Act. Prosecutors allege she shared information from the court's criminal register on social media between 6 and 9 March 2026; unnamed sources told the paper the charges relate to court material linked to NUP leader Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine).
