ChimpReports reports that the Inspectorate of Government told Kisoro District production department officers to refund UGX 14,053,825 from the Agricultural Extension Fund, after its Kabale regional office found they had forged documents and submitted false accountabilities for the first quarter of 2023/24. The Deputy IGG also directed the Chief Administrative Officer to take disciplinary action. CAO John Nyakahuma said 17 officers had refunded their share by 29 August 2025 and the remaining three would pay after receiving August salaries.
