Joint security forces shot dead two men described as suspected criminals during an early-morning operation in Kaboja A, Kasenge Parish, Kyengera Town Council. Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson SP Racheal Kawala said the suspects were armed with knives, breaking implements and toy guns, and that forged documents, including a police warrant card, were recovered. Police said investigations into the suspects' identities were continuing; the operation followed reports of panga attacks in the area.
