Kenyan lawyer Martha Karua denied entry at Entebbe airport, declared persona non grata and deported

According to ChimpReports, former Kenyan Justice Minister Martha Karua, lead defence lawyer for Dr Kizza Besigye and Hajj Obeid Lutale, was refused entry at Entebbe International Airport, declared persona non grata and deported while travelling to attend their court case. Leader of the Opposition Joel Ssenyonyi, addressing EALA MPs in Kampala, called the deportation regrettable and said she was given no reason and no chance to challenge it.
