Korea hands over 2,544 tonnes of rice to WFP in Gulu for refugees and Karamoja school feeding

According to the Daily Monitor, the Government of Korea donated 2,544 metric tonnes of rice worth $2.9m to the World Food Programme at a handover at WFP's Gulu warehouse. WFP said the rice will feed 600,000 refugees in 13 settlements and 200,000 schoolchildren in Karamoja for a year, amid funding cuts.
