According to ChimpReports, a resident of Rugombe Town Council in Kyenjojo district petitioned the Electoral Commission through his lawyers, alleging that Tourism Minister Dr Tom Butime was nominated for the Mwenge Central parliamentary seat without proof of the required A-Level qualification. The petitioner points to differences in the names on Butime's academic documents and asks the Commission to disqualify him.
