Museveni directs Local Government Minister to address PDM fund mismanagement claims in Kyenjojo

While campaigning in Kyenjojo, President Museveni said he had heard reports that Parish Development Model funds were being stolen and given to relatives, and that he had directed Local Government Minister Raphael Magyezi to intervene. According to The Independent, he also said he would send his auditor to investigate and warned that officials demanding money from beneficiaries would be arrested.
