Security officials limit NUP office opening in Kyenjojo to 20 people and 30 minutes

NUP leaders opened the party's Kyenjojo district office in Kyenjojo town council. According to NUP Tooro coordinator Innocent Natukunda, security led by the Resident District Commissioner and the District Police Commander told them to cut the event to 30 minutes and allow only 20 attendees, although they had planned for about 70. The District Police Commander said the conditions were meant to keep the peace, enforce COVID-19 rules and avoid crowds disrupting traffic.
