Local Government Minister orders arrest of Pakwach Town Clerk and District Engineer over Shs1 billion road

Minister of Local Government Balaam Barugahara visited Pakwach District and ordered the arrest of Town Clerk Adriko Simon and District Engineer Omeri Bonny over a 1.1km road for which ChimpReports says Shs900 million had been paid despite poor work. He also directed the State House Anti-Corruption Unit to investigate building works at Panyimur Health Centre III and raised concerns about maternity works at Boro Health Centre II, as part of his 'Expose the Corrupt' campaign.
