The Ministry of Health deployed technical staff to implement the Regional Electronic Cargo and Driver Tracking System at Elegu border post, The Independent reported. Permanent Secretary Diana Atwine said the system, supported by TradeMark East Africa, provides EAC-recognised digital COVID-19 certificates and staff were also deployed at other border points.
