Museveni asks independent Molly Asiimwe to step down for NRM's Kansiime in Rwampara Woman MP race

At a campaign rally at Bujaga playgrounds in Rwampara, President Museveni publicly asked independent candidate Molly Asiimwe to withdraw from the Woman MP race in favour of NRM flag bearer Anna Kansiime. According to Nile Post, the NRM tribunal had earlier nullified Asiimwe's primary win over alleged falsification of results, after which she ran as an independent. Museveni also said people with evidence of vote theft could bring it to him so police could arrest those responsible.
