Museveni hosts DRC rebel leader Lubanga and Congolese officials for peace meeting in Entebbe

President Museveni met Thomas Lubanga, leader of the CRP armed movement in Ituri, together with senior Congolese government and military officials in Entebbe. According to Lubanga's statement the next day, the meeting agreed to resume a pre-dialogue process after two weeks, and he reaffirmed a CRP ceasefire; Museveni had issued no official statement by publication, though State House released a group photograph.
