Museveni rejects West Nile NRM youth demand for independent campaign structures at Muni University

The Independent reports that President Museveni, meeting NRM youth leaders from West Nile at Muni University, rejected their memo demanding an independent mandate to campaign for the party. The youth league's regional chairperson Godfrey Abima presented the demand, and the youths cited corruption in the party leadership; Museveni said independent structures would disorganise existing mobilisation.
