Museveni says he removed a police commander and engaged EC over disputed Masaka City Woman MP results

Speaking at the opening of the NRM Caucus Retreat at the National Leadership Institute in Kyankwanzi, President Yoweri Museveni said that after NRM candidate Justine Nameere complained her votes had been manipulated, he removed the area police commander and spoke to the Electoral Commission, which he said removed the returning officer, leading to a recount. Museveni said government people, including police, had been involved in changing results.
