Nakaseke Central MP Mayanja alleges fraud and intimidation in 15 January vote, rejects result

Nakaseke Central MP Allan Mayanja (NUP) said in a statement that the 15 January vote was marred by late-opening polling stations, harassment of his agents, results left out of the tally and altered figures at tally centres. He also said he was assaulted when he questioned figures, and rejected the declared win of NRM's Kabbye Kyofa. ChimpReports said the Electoral Commission and Kabbye Kyofa had not responded.
