The Electoral Commission Returning Officer for Gulu City, Mike Jjuko, declared Justice Minister and DP President Norbert Mao winner of the Laroo-Pece Division parliamentary race with 7,359 votes against incumbent Fr Charles Onen's 5,562. Onen told Uganda Radio Network he accepted the result but would assess possible irregularities, citing the malfunction of biometric voter verification kits.
