NRM caucus endorses Oboth-Oboth for Speaker and Tayebwa for Deputy Speaker at State House Entebbe

The Daily Monitor reports that at a meeting chaired by President Museveni at State House Entebbe, 17 NRM aspirants withdrew from the Speaker and Deputy Speaker races, after which the parliamentary caucus endorsed Jacob Marksons Oboth-Oboth and Thomas Tayebwa by show of hands. NRM Electoral Commission chairperson Dr Tanga Odoi declared both candidates the party's flag bearers.
