NRM Central Executive Committee names three women MPs as nominees to the Parliamentary Commission

According to Uganda Radio Network, the NRM Central Executive Committee, chaired by President Museveni, met at State House Entebbe and named Susan Jolly Abeja, Faith Nakut and Jesica Ababiku as its backbench nominees to the Parliamentary Commission. NRM communications director Emmanuel Dombo said the meeting also assigned NRM and NRM-leaning MPs to committees and committee leadership, and directed the party caucus to elect EALA flag bearers.
