NRM youths fight over campaign allowances in Gulu City after Museveni rally

According to the Daily Monitor, youths from the NRM camp fought along the main street and on Cemetery Road in Gulu City after President Museveni's campaign meeting at Watoto Church, over allowances. One youth said he was among about 21 people brought from Luweero who had been promised Shs100,000 a day but given Shs50,000. NRM Gulu District chairperson James Ocen said invited delegates had each received Shs100,000 and suggested that those who fought may not have been invited.
