PM Nabbanja announces Shs150 million presidential support for families of River Nguse boat victims

Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja announced at the accident scene in Kagadi that President Museveni had offered Shs150 million to bereaved families, with Shs5 million per deceased person for burial costs. According to URN, she also warned residents against using unauthorised boats and against illegal activities in Bugoma forest reserve, saying UWA would soon deploy rangers there.
