Police and military block Kyagulanyi convoy at Atiak, preventing campaign in Elegu

The Daily Monitor reported that heavily armed police and military personnel intercepted NUP presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi's convoy at Atiak Town Council on the Nimule-Elegu Highway in Amuru District. The road was sealed with metallic spikes, water cannons and armoured trucks, and security forces insisted he would not campaign in Elegu, halting traffic for hours.
